With some of the old G.I. Joe vehicles, I want the updated figure. Most of the vehicles, despite 30 years, are still can be very forward thinking in design. Nothing can be further from that want than the Star Viper and the Stellar Stiletto, which became one of those really cool vehicles after reading an old ARAH issue, #72, when Mindbender develops the only Star Viper.
As a kid, for weeks on end, I would try to catch three flies with one hand after this one panel.
But I wasn’t going to go after a Stiletto until I found a Star Viper for cheap… then I found one. As of this writing, I’m still waiting on it to ship.
And with that, you get a character who was able to sneak into the G.I. Joe base by hitching a ride under a Joe vehicle during the day.
Steal a device and almost get away clean until he happened upon Flint and Lady Jaye making out in the entrance way instead of being on guard.
Subdues them. Takes off in an awe striker, plugging himself into a small external computer to help his reflexes and drives away dodging bullet fire before anyone can hit him.
Before catching up with a Bat in a Tricky Dick mask in a semi truck with a Stellar Stiletto in the back of the rig that he takes off in. Without a shot fired, all in an AC/DC shirt.
After getting the Star Viper, it’s time to customize a body complete with AC/DC shirt and try to find a hose that can be placed in the head. But while doing that, it might be high time to get a Stellar Stiletto.
UPDATE:
I’m getting the pieces together for an infiltration Star Viper made up now. I have all the pieces and now it’s time to start to painting and assembling.
