This old friend of mine from high school has this image as her avatar. It’s her dog naturally, but I can’t help notice that the dog is making Happy Dick Cheney face.

My son has been wanting a Hot Rod, or if you wish Rodimus Minor, it wasn’t until the summer at some toy fair that we, learned about Hot Rod getting a toy that was pretty much long over due. Yesterday I had dinner with my Aunt. Afterwards since she lives in Sierra Vista it was easier to just let me ride back. A quick drop off to Toys R Us down the street, they told me to call the following day.
Lo and behold the truck that came in was plentiful with their Transformers. They held one for me as I rushed over. Taking my bike and catching a bus since that should be the easiest way to get there. Bus and bike.
Found, got it, rode back to catch the bus. The bus came, with a full bike rack. I didn’t want to wait so I rode on. Then I passed the same bus. The distance became greater and greater. I looked back and noticed that I couldn’t see the bus anymore. By the time I got to work, I was wet, sweaty and pretty tired.
But I got Lucian’s Hot Rod.

Yesterday, it was my turn to get the boys. Take Lucian to get his six month checkup and then get Melissa. There she had a monkey hand puppet thing. Five monkey faces on a yellow hand base and the only thing I could think of was that this hand puppet was five monkey lovin’.

My sister, one of them, is a lesbian and I had just heard about Prop 8 being overturned. Since she is my sister, the idea of marriage is about as fun as most sane people view. So even though she’s single, I had to tell her that, “You’ll get in another relationship and she’ll be all Marth Stewart and shit and then start nagging you about a ring or marriage and you’ll get drunk, be in Vegas. There is a flash of techno and glitter and you wake up with bride and a really pissed off girlfriend.”

The boy is with me at work again. This week his mom can’t have kids at work, ironic considering she works at a child care facility, but it’s those two weeks where they have to put their rooms together. Lucian stays with me that week so we can have our fun at work.
No one seems to mind. He’s able to keep himself occupied while I work.
